Best Sport! In Britain, handball is still a
relatively minority sport, however, interest
and numbers of players are increasing rapidly as many
people are quickly discovering this fast paced and
enjoyable sport.

In February 2007 UK Sport and the English Institute of Sport
set out to identify potential British Handball players for the
2012 Olympic Games.
Athletes up and down the country were invited to audition
and every applicant that fitted the entry criteria was
considered.
