Although surfing is normally
regarded as an individual sport,
England’s best young surfers are
coming together to compete as a
team for their country. This years
European Junior Surfing
Championships are set to be held in
Agadir, Morocco from November 28
to December 6, 2008. The English
Federation of Surfing have
employed Sports Psychologist Mark
Bellamy to help the national surfing
team prepare for the event. Sport IQ
spoke to the English Surf
Federation’s Chairman Paulie
Jefferies to find out how the
inclusion of sports psychology was
going to help the national team.
