and judged by management within the Greenock site. The
format of the programme involves innovators presen ting their
innovation to a Dragons' Den-style panel of senior
executives. In what can be a nerve wracking occasion the
innovators explain how they came up with their solution, how
they implemented it, and then provide details of the
tangible benefits to the business. Innovation teams present
within a ten minute time slot to a panel of three judges to
highlight their achievements. To gain a better understanding
of the innovation the judges have the opportunity to carry
out a question and answer session. After careful
consideration the judges select a winner and two runners
up. The programme is supported by an internal network of
coaches across the various business units to drive
Innovations forward.
The ‘final’ of the Innovations programme will take place in
November where Innovations will be categorised into the
following categories; Shareholder Value, Client Satisfaction,
Technical Improvement, Team Partnership & Climate
Improvement. The next review will take place on 19th
September if you have an Innovation please inform your
Innovation Coach.
