people who recently set a Guinness World
Record.
The world’s largest pillow fight, held at
Butlins’ Minehead resort in Somerset, helped
the operator raise £5,600 for BBC’s Children
in Need. The event was part of the Party in the
Pavilion weekend, headlined by the Sugababes.
The resort also hosted the BBC’s coverage of
the fundraising night in the west of England
region. The 3,700 pillow fighters beat the
previous record of 3,648 held by the University
at Albany, New York.
