1 JOHN 2:12-14
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able
to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified” (Acts
20:32).
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing
one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to
the Lord” (Col.3:16).
“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Tim.2:15).
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Tim.3:16).
“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: if so
be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious” (1 Pt.2:2-3).
