Ramona Drost of Thomas Lavin inspired Fuse Lighting’s Ramona
Chandelier. Drost requested that Fuse Lighting create a chandelier for
her home and asked that the chandelier be bold and elegant. The light
should be “dripping with jewels,” Drost said. Thomas Lavin noted,
“This light is jewelry for the home. It’s sexy and elegant. Everyone
needs a Ramona like mine!” The Ramona Chandelier has become a
top-seller for Lavin, initially selling two just off of the sketch.
Galbraith & Paul Tulip Fabric: “I chose Galbraith & Paul’s Tu-
lip to entirely upholster a desk chair – legs and
all – for my client’s office retreat off the master
bedroom. The room is an eclectic collection of
eras: a classic Eames lounge chair, a burled olive
ash writing desk from the 1960s and a love seat
that nods to the 1930s. The element that ties
the decades together is Galbraith & Paul’s Tulip
in custard, which is modern and fresh, and also
references the glorious patina, subtlety of color
and rich complexity of vintage textiles that are
a source of great delight and inspiration for me.
I think Galbraith & Paul’s recipe of classic craft
tradition made bold, fresh and new is the perfect
textile to kindle the interplay of the past and the
present that creates a room with character, so-
phistication and the joy, life and vibrancy of here
and now,” said Samara Hutman of HomeWork
Décor, Santa Monica, California.
“The subtle variation of color achieved with
the block printing of Tulip in frost gives the pattern great depth so
the finished result is elegant yet humble. We all know there are plenty
of options available out there, but the quality of the finished product
made it the clear choice. The ground fabrics, colors and patterns avail-
able in the Galbraith & Paul library allow me to design a room that
is individual to each client’s project. Clients love the idea of a custom
