remember their wedding evening
at the hotel.
“We held the evening reception of
our wedding at the West House
Country Hotel as we could book the
whole venue for our special event.
It had a lovely feel to it, with lots
of different rooms/spaces to
accommodate the different needs
of our guests, and Richard was
very helpful and flexible with our
requirements.
We had 130 guests and it was really
important to us that the food was
excellent, which it was. We had a
meeting with Andrew, the chef,
requesting something a little
different from the norm for our
evening buffet. He came up with a
very modern, inventive menu based
around tapas and mediterranean type
dishes and we were really happy to
have had so many compliments on
the food from our guests.
The service was also excellent.
This was the second marriage for
both of us, so we had some quite
individual requirements from the
menu, to the music. They were
extremely accommodating and open
to our suggestions, plus they helped
us with all the extra touches.
We provided the band, and used
the hotel’s disco. The event went
without a hitch and I would
definitely recommend the hotel to
friends. It was certainly the most
memorable evening of our lives.”
