Gladiators,
r
eady!
Vulkan Supports is receiving a welcome
boost to its media profile this year, by
becoming an official supplier to Sky TV’s
‘Gladiators’.
Having returned to Sky in 2009 after its
revival last year attracted 10 million
viewers, all Gladiators and Contenders are
wearing Vulkan knee and elbow supports
and custom-made Vulkan tracksuits.
“With the show’s emphasis on strength,
toughness, speed and agility, Gladiators is
a perfect showcase for our brand,” says
Vulkan brand manager, Andrew Hawkyard.
"The supports we supplied are all standard
products, although understandably the
sizes were really huge.
“The controlled support and compression
of our purpose-designed products will help
protect the gladiators and contestants
from injury, during some pretty hectic
physical activities. It’s great when people
like the Gladiators call us and ask for the
products. It shows that our products really
work.”
