F resh from their Quex Park gig, we caught up with Scouting For Girls to see what they thought of
new bands on the scene and what
they like to eat whilst they’re down
the pub.

Firstly though, we had to know what
they thought of the Sound Island
Festival. “Awesome” was the
enthusiastic reply from Greg. “It’s
our first time playing the area and it
was amazing, the crowd were
buzzing, the sun was shining and we
had a really good laugh playing in
front of the 6’000 odd people that
turned up.” So it seems that Kent is
once again proving why so much
attention has been put our way
when bands are looking for venues.

The band have been playing their
unique upbeat style for the past ten
years, but it has only been since
2005 that they adopted the name
Scouting for girls and we were keen
to find out why……
