Take Cover A Great Scottish
letter
I am one of an informal group of friends who Welcome
meet weekly in Manchester for Line dancing at
the Beginner and Improver level. Although we
are an informal group, we believe we should
take out appropriate insurance cover for our
meetings. Is anyone able to suggest how and
where such cover can be obtained? I would

Thankyou.

Don’t Want To Just
Sit Back
I would like to agree with your star letter in the November issue of
Linedancer. I have been at dances where this has happened frequently.
People are given request slips to ask for the dances that they know
and like and for a short time some will be played. Then as the evening
progresses the DJ will play for certain people. I know some
people who have told me they will never
go back to these dances as they feel
that they paid their money and
were left sitting in their chairs
watching a handful on the
fl oor, dancing to something Whilst on holiday in Scotland Diane from Norfolk
that is just simply terrible needed a Line dance fi x. “Anyone travelling in the South
as well as for the music. West of Scotland must go to Audrey Watsons Centre
DJ’s are there to cater Liners. What a warm welcome I received”, Diane tells
for everyone but if the us: “Audrey introduced me to the class and asked if I
fl oor only has six people could do each dance and insisted on walking a couple
on it then the DJ is not of walls of ones that were new to me. What a great
doing his/her job well. Line example to us all and there are a few who could learn
dancing is meant to be fun from going to visit the Centre Liners. Thank you all and
and people go to enjoy it not I hope to be back next year.”
to sit on the sidelines. Diane from Norfolk
