A REAL COUNTRY
Creetown, a
Well what a weekend I had! When Laurent
asked me whether I could cover some of our
small town of
great Scottish festivals, I thought Creetown
was the one I would like to attend the
about 750 people
most. Linedancer magazine contacted the
organisers and they in turn chatted to me
in South West
and invited me to introduce a bit of Line
dance to the weekend. This was something
Scotland is best
the Creetown Committee had wanted to do
for a while and well, you know me, I can
known for being
never say no to a bit of dancing!

And so the festival started on Thursday
with some cracking acts. The Hanks played
the atmospheric
a great set including Slowly, Lay Down
Sally, all very Line dance friendly. The
thriller The Wicker
Country Sisters followed and boy what a
group these six gorgeous ladies are! All
Man but also for great instrumentalists with impeccable
renditions of Cotton Eyed Joe, Twist
its Country Music And Shout and Hungarian Rhapsody!
