1000 Kisses (108bpm) is the second of a few
waltz numbers and this was produced by, and
features on vocals and guitar, the great Willie
Nelson. Everyone loves Willie!
Fool (132bpm) here we have yet another
waltz track, somewhat faster then the previous
one, which has a strong country sounding with
the haunting steel guitar over the backing,
yet surprisingly this was produced by Lenny
Kravitz who also plays a plethora of
instruments. Delightful!
New York Fallen Angel (148bpm) has a Reggae
sound, a complete departure from the rest of
the album, and it has a great beat.
Luck’s Changing Lanes (80bpm) takes us right
back to the laid back country sound with steel
guitar and some gorgeous harmonies from producer
Gillian Welch.
Malibu Canyon (104bpm) is a lively number
with claps and stomps throughout contributing
to the feel good factor on this up tempo track.
Tangled In The Fence (93bpm) again features
Gillian Welch and is a lively country flavoured
track with an awesome musical backing
including some fine harmonica playing. I
absolutely love this one.
Never Going Back (79bpm) steadies the pace
