Massage Therapy
for Mothers-To-Be
B
ob Jensen invites expectant
moms to Greenwich Heal-
ing Hands, where he now offers
“Mother Massage: Massage Dur-
ing Pregnancy”. Jensen studied
the technique directly with Elaine
Stillerman, founder of Mother
Massage, and he adds this special
training to his existing knowledge
of Prenatal, Labor Support and
Postpartum Massage.
Jensen, a former Emergency
Medical Technician, is a Clinical
Massage Therapist licensed in both
Bob Jensen
Connecticut and New York. He
says that standard Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques
increase blood circulation, which may not be safe for women
who already experience increased blood volume during preg-
nancy. To lower the risk of thrombosis, Jensen switches to a
lighter and safer technique like Lymph Drainage when working
on the legs of pregnant clients. His office also features special
equipment designed to help with pregnancy massage. Their
new Body Cushion System affords the greatest support for a
changing abdomen.
Greenwich Healing Hands is located at 270 Mason St., Suite
12, in Greenwich, CT. Visit
GreenwichHealingHands.com or
call Bob Jensen at 203.253.5576.
