Innovative enjoys success
with climbing towers
I
nnovative Leisure Ltd., the UK based climbing attractions specialist, is
currently enjoying an ever-widening customer base and an increasingly
broadening end-user take up for its attractions, notably its mobile
climbing towers.
Having established an enviable reputation within the attractions sector of
the leisure industry for its range of physically challenging but fun climbing
attractions at venues such as Centre Parcs, Legoland and Alton Towers,
Innovative Leisure has noted an increasing number of organisations outside
the mainstream leisure industry making use of its climbing attractions.
Local authorities, specialist schools, scout groups, youth groups and others
are turning to its products and for a number of different reasons. For example,
such climbing walls are suitable for all but the youngest of age groups and
they include new technology called a hydraulic auto belay, meaning one

T
his year’s Preview show to be held on October 1 and 2 has already
attracted some new exhibitors who have either never taken a stand at
the show before, or are returning after a long absence.
“We are so pleased to welcome the following companies to Preview this
year,” says Ylva Howard, show organiser. “It is really positive to see new
products and services on offer – from companies all over the world. Their
presence will give Preview a real boost.”
Among those companies exhibiting for the first time or after a long
absence are TAB Austra, JPM, Hauer and Grossman (Hungary), Cashpoint
Austria and the SPP Group from South Wales.
“Our company is a new exhibitor at Preview,” said Pal Kosa, Hauer and
Grossman, Hungary. “We will be displaying video-slot machines with
different specifications according to the customers’ demand. Our product
range covers single or dual monitor machines in wooden, chrome or slant-
top cabinet, with single games or the 6-program Multi-Game. Our in-house
development provides exciting games with highquality graphics and
operator-friendly system.”
Electronic poker explodes onto Spanish scene
P
oker will be present at Fer-Interazar. The game of poker has exploded in Spain in recent times. Following the success of electronic roulette, now it's
the turn of the electronic poker tables. Both options are providing arcades operating type "B" machines with new expectations of growth. After its
presentation at the Málaga fair, the poker table "Top Poker Club" from the SLEIC company has been approved recently in Aragon, so it will be possible for
it to be installed in this Autonomous Region later this summer. This product from SLEIC is a wonderful multiplayer machine providing entertainment for
6, 8 or 10 players of the card game known as Texas Hold'em. It has an ergonomic design, looks like a gaming table in a casino, has dynamic and
interactive play with a touch screen, sound effects and voice instructions for each individual satellite. It boasts high quality graphics and is very easy to
learn to use. For its part MGA announced that it will be presenting its "Poker 100" model at the next Spanish exhibition in Madrid. "Poker 100" is an
electronic poker table that simulates the real game, without the need for a croupier, intended for type "B" arcades with the usual provision of a table in a
casino. This table is equipped with digital displays on which everyone can play their cards and place their bets. There is a screen for each player and, in
the centre, the banker’s screen, thereby replacing the figure of the croupier. There are several versions of the game, in which 6, 8 or 10 players can play
simultaneously. MGA presented this table that is based on a variant of poker, Texas Hold'em, which is the most played around the world and is played in
the majority of casinos at present and in all the online poker rooms.
