aipei County Commissioner Chou Shi-wei recently led a delegation of
governmental officers to the US. After returning to Taiwan,
Commissioner Chou revealed that American companies showed great
interest in investing in Taipei County and if foreign companies actually come,
Taipei County will build more than 20 international hotels as well as a theme
park, indoor exhibition center, showrooms, schools, and parks. Chou intends
to turn the “Crown Coast” of Taipei County into the best vacation site for
Chinese tourists.
Commissioner Chou and the delegation visited Las Vegas on June 22nd, and
made a presentation on the third-generation Integrated Family Resort planned by
Taipei County to Las Vegas-based Wynn, MGM, Venetian, and Archon. These
