37 hours per week - 3 year project

(Secondments from participating Authorities will be favourably considered)

Working within the Social Care Workforce Development Programme of Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, you will be responsible for managing a professional practice development service across the three counties to enable Registered Social Workers and Assessor Care Co-ordinators/Managers to improve service delivery and achieve organisational objectives. You will provide expertise and specialist knowledge to ensure delivery of exceptional professional development programmes

You will work closely with the Workforce Development Managers of the 3 counties who form the management group for the project, to develop a learning and development strategy to ensure successful outcomes for this new initiative.

A registered social worker with extensive experience you will demonstrate a commitment to your own professional development in post qualifying training.

The work location is to be agreed but the post requires extensive travel across the three counties, for which you will be an essential car user.

We are looking for 2 qualified surveyors (HNC or equivalent in Building Construction)

You will be expected to carry out a range of functions including investigating complaints, surveying properties, and producing schedules, processing grant applications, contract administration and taking enforcement action.

Effective written and verbal communications skills are essential, as you will be required to advise landlords, tenants and owner-occupiers, and you will need good IT skills.

You will be able to work as part of a team and have experience of building construction associated with older housing.

A full valid driving licence is necessary.
