HYDE PARK ATTACK
Police are appealing for witnesses following an attack on
a man in his 50s in the Rose Gardens area of London’s Hyde
Park at around 10pm on Sunday 21 September. The victim
received injuries to his face and neck, and the suspect – a
Mediterranean-looking white man aged about 28, wearing
dark trackie bottoms, a dark T-shirt, baseball cap and trainers
– made off with £1,700 in jewellery. Anyone with info should

MAN FOUND IN MANCHESTER CANAL
46-year-old Alexander Lynch was found, drowned, in a canal
near a well-known cruising area in central Manchester in the
