East Dorset District Council has confirmed that the planning decision meeting for the
Waitrose planning application is likely to be held at the end of September at the Allendale
Centre, as reported in our last issue of Viewpoint. The exact date, however, is still not
available to the press.
Philip Atlay, the Chairman of Keep Wimborne Town Green, says he was told by East
Dorset District Council that it would be 29 September. He is urging people to keep this
date clear, even though it is not confirmed.
