After ten heats, which took place
across the UK and Ireland between
April and September, the candidates
for this year’s Miss Gay UK have been
whittled down to ten lovely fi nalists.
The14 November sees the girls battle
it out for the crown of Miss Gay UK
at Nightingales Club in Birmingham.
So, will it be PE teacher Kirsty
from East Anglia? Or perhaps
student Lucy from Edinburgh?
Or maybe Miss Gay Derry will
scoop the prize? Make sure
you go along and fi nd out!
The 15 November was a very swish
opening night for 26 Taboo, with
canapés and a free glass of bubbly for
everyone who got there before 10pm.
There was also a choice of two bars
56 and dancefl oors as well as a posh
chill-out room and smoking terrace.
A great selection of music was being
pumped out by DJ Kelly (Curves)
across the two rooms as the fi ne ladies
present shook their proverbial thang!
This lesbian-owned and managed
S woman-only club night created a
great atmosphere, putting everyone

R at ease as they partied on ‘til late.
