Police Community Support Officers

Salary £16,689 - £18,507 per annum

Following the success of its existing team Gwent Police is seeking to recruit additional Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs). PCSOs focus on low-level crime, anti-social and nuisance behaviour by providing high visibility patrols. Working in a particular area they provide a visible and accessible uniformed presence to the community in addition to our police officers.

The starting salary is £16,689 per annum rising to £18,507 per annum after 3 years service (subject to satisfactory performance). The post also attracts a 14% shift allowance and you will be required to work some weekends.
