Safinah Ltd is looking to expand its world-class team of consultants and is currently looking to recruit
Business Development Manager - To develop a network of qualified coating inspectors to service the needs of clients world-wide:
¥ Insurers, Ship-owners, Paint companies, Regulatory bodies and Classification societies
The objective of this role is to build up a network to service the marine market. The successful candidate will be expected to build on the existing client
base and network and create a strong brand identity. To lead on this development Safinah is looking for a Business Development Manager to:
¥ Develop formal operation guidelines, membership, technical qualifications and rules for the network
¥ Build up a network of inspectors and client base to offer a service world-wide
¥ Co-ordinate activities across all regions to deliver timely reports to clients
¥ Co-ordinate with customers to ensure prompt settlement of all accounts.
¥ Execute other Safinah consultant assignments as required
Consultants - Self-motivated candidates who ideally have:
¥ A degree or equivalent professional experience relevant to our business
¥ A sound understanding of coatings for ships, offshore structures and mega-yachts
¥ Experience in dispute resolution of coating failures
¥ Experience in business development or marketing and analysis of coatings and the application processes
¥ The ability to write professional reports and use standard computer software
¥ The ability to execute projects in the range of services identified on the Safinah website.
¥ Good team working skills and communication skills to deal with our international client base.
Posts involve much international travel and the physical evaluation of structures/vessels. Safinah is based in Morpeth but staff may work from other
