The best of all cross-country ski festivals
in Canada has a new name for its 30th
birthday: the Gatineau Loppet. It’s the collective
name for all the races and activities being orga-
nized in co-operation with embassies and the
sports industry for Feb. 15-17, 2008.
Formerly known as the Keskinada, Gatineau
55 and Rivière Rouge, the Gatineau Loppet was,
and remains, the Canadian leg of the Worldlop-
pet circuit. More than 3,000 skiers (including
amateurs, experts and families, from 20 differ-
ent countries) are expected in Gatineau Park for
the event.
