Wales Millennium Centre is one of the most unique and lively performing arts centres in Europe, attracting over 1.5 million visitors since it was opened by Her Majesty The Queen in 2004. Look beyond the amazing exterior, as featured in Torchwood and Dr Who, and you will come across a bustling atmosphere that makes our visitors want to return time and time again. We’re so much more than just a theatre. Our visitors come to enjoy blockbuster West End musicals, opera, ballet and contemporary dance, hip hop and stand-up comedy, art exhibitions, workshops,training days, free daily foyer performances, guided tours, bars andrestaurants…there really is something for everyone! A Variety of Jobs
We make sure our customers get everything they can from the Centre. And that’s where you come in. Imagine being an active part of a buzzing environment, where each day offers something new. You could be getting paid to watch your favourite comedian from the lighting and sound box, become a member of a team of enthusiastic guides, offer an insider’s view on the spectacular architecture, sell tickets, promote events, or even mingle with celebrities at the bar.
You don’t necessarily have to have a wild passion for opera to work for us. There are lots of roles that allow you to gain an insight into the technical side of things. On top of this, we require cleaning, housekeeping and
security staff, who play a crucial part in the everyday running of our Centre. Our aim is to offer all our visitors a warm and friendly Welsh welcome. We want you to be happy in a job that best suits your needs and abilities. Our vision of quality and care is the most important thing to us, especially when it comes to our staff. Anyone after a boring 9 to 5 need not apply.
