Renew your job search

The summer is over (did it ever begin?), term-time has resumed and our minds drift into daydream mode as we reminisce over the two weeks holiday we spent away from work. But now it’s back to reality and the chance to renew your job search.
The good news is that this is also the time when many companies step up their recruitment drive after a period of relative calm on the employment front during the summer months.
And, we also have some good news of our own.
Welsh Recruitment has made it into the prestigious Top 100 index of the Welsh National Entrepreneurship Observatory. This comes in recognition of the unique opportunity that the magazine has to reach more jobseekers than any other publication in the region, both online and offline.
So, if you are looking for a new job or have just left college or university, then this edition of Welsh Recruitment showcases the best and latest jobs in South Wales.
In Wales, unemployment is at its lowest level as the number of people obtaining new jobs is set to continue to rise over the next few years. We will be at the forefront of keeping you up to date with the latest jobs and developments affecting you.

Features

6 WR meets a bus driver

Many people rely on the bus service for their daily commute to and from work. It is often taken for granted that you can just hop on and off a bus for a cheap fare and receive a friendly service. But have you ever considered what the driving force is behind this important and integral component of the transport sector? Welsh Recruitment chats to a bus driver for Newport Bus who gives an insight into his daily life steering the Newport routes.

10 Access all Areas

There are some organisations in Wales, such as the Welsh Assembly Government, who go that extra mile to facilitate disabled workers.
Steven Morris is 24 years old and is visually impaired. He works as a Staff Networks Liaisons Officer for the Welsh Assembly Government and chats to Welsh Recruitment about his inspirational path to employment.
