Scotland as she was pregnant – T: 020 7235 9667. Furniture by Danish designer Nina Tolstrup will be exhibited at
Jacqueline Rabun’s jewellery studio for the London Design
Festival.
Nina’s furniture, lights and other objects are made from
reclaimed pallets – wooden crates used to transport goods.
They are sold in a unique way. Nina designs each piece of
furniture and then sells the assembly guidelines online. This
means the final piece can be made anywhere in the world
using locally sourced, reclaimed pallets. It’s a sustainable and
collaborative approach to design that negates the need for
supply chains, which can be costly and harmful to the
environment.
“I admire Nina’s unique approach to design, we share a
desire to achieve simplicity and purity in our work”, says
Jacqueline. Nina’s furniture will be made to order from
Jacqueline Rabun’s gallery using London pallets and there will
be an auction of pallet chairs personalised by famous British
artists.
