Fit for life
Make like Madonna and take up pilates this
autumn. According to fitness instructor Sonia
Palecek, who has been a coach for 10 years,
pilates can have many benefits.
“It can be the start of a new lease of life,
bringing a spring to the step by improving
energy levels and helping with weight loss,”
she says.
There are two different classes. For those
with some pilates or yoga experience, the
Wednesday session from 7.15pm to 8.30pm is
most suitable. £15 drop-in or £130 for 10.
For absolute beginners, those recovering
from injury or new mums, try the set of six
classes on Tuesdays from 7.30pm to 8.30pm,
beginning October 13. £90 for six.
All classes take place at St Barnabas, 14
Ranelagh Grove. For more information visit
www.palecek-principles.co.uk or call Sonia on
