ARTIST JANET STEVER EXPANDS LICENSING

PROGRAMS FOR CHRISTMAS, HOLIDAY ART
In the year since Janet Stever burst onto the licensing scene,
her charming images of snowmen, Santa’s and angels have li-
censed onto a broad array of holiday tabletop, giftware and
decorative products as well as seasonal paper products and
porcelain and resin figurals. A 26-year veteran in the fields
of illustration, commercial art and design, she has worked
as an in-house artist and illustrator for major design stu-
dios, as well as a successful freelance artist for American
collectibles, giftware and home products manufacturers.
The artist works almost entirely with non-electronic
media. She loves the feeling of pulling paint across pa-
per and believes the freshness of hand-done art cannot be
matched. States the artist, “I love the process of creating a
new concept for an image and then being able to ex-
ecute it, to create artwork that has an edge to it, that
has meaning and purpose that lifts it above the usual
and shares with others the joy and happiness of life.”
