FPDSO conversion underway
A contract for the engineering of a one-of-a-kind FPDSO conversion has
been signed.
D
eltamarin and the Brazilian offshore
service company, Petroserv SA, have
signed an engineering contract for
the basic and detail engineering of an FPDSO,
called Dynamic Producer. The unit will be set
to work in Brazilian oilfields under a contract
from Petrobras once the conversion - of an
existing tanker - is complete.
This is the first contract that Deltamarin
has received in the Brazilian offshore
market and it is hoped it will strengthen the
company’s position in the FPSO market.
