Singers
travel to
Brittany
A group of singers have returned after
their bi-annual journey to France.
Members of the Looe Valley Singers
and Polperro Fishermen’s Choir
enjoyed taking part in several concerts
in Looe’s twinned town of Quiberon
in southern Brittany.
Along with other choirs from around

Europe they attended the Quiberon
singing at the closing Brenton Musical Lunch. Conductor: Phil Carrigan (Polperro Fishermen’s Choir). Music Festival.
For some it has been a decade-long
tradition singing in the Quiberon
Cathedral and this year the singers
from Polperro and the Looe Valley
took part in five concerts, including
entertaining some elderly
Breton residents.
