brother,” about the time commitment and all the rest, we really have had acceptance and actual enthusiasm among the 4,000 agents. That hasn’t been a problem. We’re very pleased with that. But it was purely an education process.
MCDONALD: Mike, did you have anything else?
WISE: Yes. One quick question. What is the Web architecture, the platform that the Website is built on? Is that in a dot net, WebSphere?
BRANCEL: I don’t think any of us actually know. We weren’t directly involved with the initial building of the Website. We could look into that.
WISE: That’s OK. Was that outsourced then to another company?
FEATHERSTON: The DriveCam Company actually developed that Website.
BRANCEL: We also hired a firm to work on the Website as well.
WISE: When was this first launched?
FEATHERSTON: March of 2007. It was piloted in 2006 with the high schools. So, it’s been running about a year and a half now. We put it out slowly to other states. We didn’t hit all states at the same time.
MCDONALD: Thank you very much. That was an outstanding presentation and a very innovative program. I happen to have a daughter who got her license two weeks ago and Paul’s been through it too.
Our next presentation is going to be next week on Wednesday at 11:00 and we’re going to be hearing another E-Fusion finalist presentation. This one’s from Progressive and they have a very interesting user interface and a very deep and interesting project that they’re showing off and the judges also thought extremely highly of it.
I’d like to thank Ken, Rick, Bill and Debbie. That was a good job and a nice job on the prep as well. You came ready to play.
Thank you Jaimie, and Mike and thank you, Pat. I know you’ll be hearing this shortly.
TINNIRELLO: Thanks for your contribution again to this program.
