FAQ
How do I monitor remote objects using Memory-Map Venture-Tracker on the internet?

Just login on the Memory-Map Venture-Tracker webpage and you can view objects
locations anywhere in the world using Google Maps.
How do I use a Pocket PC as a tracked object?

Your Pocket PC needs Memory-Map Venture-Tracker installed and a valid GPS position from
a built in or Bluetooth GPS. Your location can then be sent to the Memory-Map
Venture-Tracker Location Server using a standard internet connection for example using
GPRS, 3G, WiFi or via Bluetooth through a mobile phone.

How do I use a dedicated GPS Beacon as a tracked object?

Dedicated GPS Tracking devices or beacons, for example the Venture-Tracker TR102, are
usually more convenient as they have GPS and mobile phone based internet connection
(normally via GPRS) built into a single compact unit. The GPS Tracking device is then set to
monitor your position and report back to the Memory-Map Venture-Tracker Location Server
at predefined intervals. Depending on specification you can also send a ‘Where are you
now?’ message to the unit to report current position.
