What can it track?

Memory-Map Venture-Tracker can follow people, vehicles or other moving objects on-road,
off-road and even at sea or in the air.

Can anyone see where I am?

You can choose to set up a Public or Private accounts. Public accounts can be viewed by
anyway using Memory-Map Venture-Tracker or Google maps. Private objects are invisible to
other users unless you provide them with your own unique user group name and password.

How can I see remote objects?

Home or HQ Access
You can track objects using Memory-Map on your PC to see current location and a detailed
history of the individuals or objects GPS tracklog.

Remote Access
Importantly Memory-Map can be used anywhere on your Pocket PC and still enable you to
see other remote objects and their current location on full colour detailed topographical
maps.

Internet Access
If you don’t have Memory-Map available you can even log onto the Memory-Map website to
check object locations via Google maps.
How do I monitor remote objects using Memory-Map Venture-Tracker on the internet?

Just login on the Memory-Map Venture-Tracker webpage and you can view objects
locations anywhere in the world using Google Maps.

How do I use a Pocket PC as a tracked object?

Your Pocket PC needs Memory-Map Venture-Tracker installed and a valid GPS position from
a built in or Bluetooth GPS. Your location can then be sent to the Memory-Map Venture-
Tracker Location Server using a standard internet connection for example using GPRS, 3G,
WiFi or via Bluetooth through a mobile phone.

How do I use a dedicated GPS Beacon as a tracked object?

Dedicated GPS Tracking devices or beacons, for example the Venture-Tracker TR102, are
usually more convenient as they have GPS and mobile phone based internet connection
(normally via GPRS) built into a single compact unit. The GPS Tracking device is then set to
monitor your position and report back to the Memory-Map Venture-Tracker Location Server
at predefined intervals. Depending on specification you can also send a ‘Where are you
now?’ message to the unit to report current position.
