More conversion contracts for
Singaporean group
Keppel Shipyard has recently won a glut of new contracts in the conversion
market.

eppel Shipyard has been awarded
two conversion contracts, worth
a total of Sing$100 million, one
by Prosafe Production Pte Ltd, and the
other by Shipping Logistics Inc for a long
term charter to Perenco SA.
The first contract awarded by Prosafe
is for the conversion of a 101,832dwt
double-sided tanker, Kudam, into an FPSO
facility. Work on the vessel is expected to
be completed by late 2008.
Subic Shipyard & Engineering Inc
(SSEI), an associate of Keppel Shipyard,
will carry out the first phase of this FPSO
