Already best known as manufacturer of innovative, award winning family and kiddie rides Zamperla is proud to have received at the 2006 IAAPA Attractions Expo in
Atlanta, GA, the award for "Best New Major Theme/Amusement Park Ride/Attraction" for the new Disk'O Coaster. Derived from Zamperla's
unique Disk'O ride, the Disk'O Coaster has proven to be a worldwide hit- combining the best of a flat ride and roller coaster in one exciting attraction.
Debuting for the 2006 season, 4 Disk'O Coasters have already opened to rave reviews at Paramount's Kings Island (Cincinnati, OH); Paramount's
Great America (Santa Clara, CA); Nigloland (Dolancourt, FRANCE); and Dinosaur Park (Changzhou, CHINA). Orders have been taken for two more Disk'O Coasters
set to debut in EUROPE during the 2007 season. In addition, over 2 dozen Disk'Os and Mega Disk'Os continue to thrill riders at parks of all sizes from Silver Dollar
City in America to Happy Valley in China.
Roller Coasters and Water Rides are the new Zamperla product divisions in the major rides segment. This award is particularly significant for Zamperla because it confirms Zamperla
as reliable manufacturer of major rides.
