we felt that they should not qualify because they were either not of high enough quality or were
not accessible enough!
the highlights...3D Golf’s most popular golf resorts in terms of
demand are the Hotel Du Golf Barriere in Normandy, where you can play
a choice of 5 golf courses in a package. The smaller Le Manoir Hotel on
Le Touquet, which includes year round golf on both Hardelot and Le
Touquet and the Hotel Du Golf International Golf Resort at La Baule,
which has 45 holes on site, making it France’s biggest golf resort.
In a nutshell, the best actual hotels would be the
Chateau des Vigiers in the Dordogne, which has a
wonderful new 9 holes opening this year designed by
Donald Steel, or the exquisite Relais de Margaux close
to Bordeaux, with its 18 hole on the Gironde.
The best golf courses to sample are the amazing
Seignosse near Hossegor in the Aquitaine, the superb
Les Bordes in the Loire Valley and Le Golf Parc Nantilly
in the heart of Normandy close to the other impressive
Champs de Bataille course which is better known.
