What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order, or part of your order, has arrived damaged you must notify the delivery company before
signing their delivery acceptance and document the damage as accurately as possible. If the damage
has occurred during delivery you should return just the piece damaged to the delivery company and
contact our Customer Helpdesk on 020 8203 9203. If the damage is evident without removing the
packaging then avoid removing any more than is necessary as this may result in a reduced refund (see
refund policy).
Do you have an installation service?
We offer an installation service in some geographic areas and you should check by e-mailing your
request to
sales@cantifixonline.com or include your request on the order processing form. We may
also be able to advise on a local installer however any installation carried out by installers is covered
by the contract between you and the installer. In the event of any queries or problems arising from work
carried out by the installers, you should contact the installer concerned.
What will happen to the price that I pay online if subsequent to placing my order I need advice
on design and installation?
If you need advice on design and installation we may be unable to offer goods through cantifixonline
at the prices quoted and we reserve the right not to accept your order. If you still wish to proceed your
order may be passed to our Cantifix sales team who will be in contact. Enquiries passed to our sales
team will be processed in accordance with separate conditions of sale.
Will the courier company help with unloading their vehicle?
No. It is normal practice that the buyer arranges for goods to be off-loaded and it is highly unlikely that
the courier driver will assist.
How will I know when to book my builder to start the installation?
Due to the weight of glass and aluminium you may require a number of people to assist with
manoeuvring the goods to their installation site, and therefore you are strongly advised to book your
builder to be present on the date of the delivery.
How many people will it take to lift the units?
The weight of the units will of course depend on their size. The recommendation for level lifting weight is
25 kg per person but you need to remember that glazing is fragile and lifting equipment may be
necessary. We recommend that you seek advice from your builder before taking delivery. Once delivered,
neither Cantifix, nor the courier company can take any responsibility for the movement of the goods.
Do you deliver outside the United Kingdom?
No. At present customers will have to make their own provision for the collection of goods from our
factory or from another UK location if the goods are to be delivered overseas.
Can I order from
Cantifixonline.com and collect from your factory?
Yes. Once fabrication has been completed and the goods are ready for despatch, you are welcome
to collect from our factory in Hendon, North London between the hours of 09:00 and 16.00 Monday to
Friday only. A charge for packaging and loading will be levied at the rate of £25 per item.
