opaque shuts out light, so slowing down
the growth of algae and pathogenic
micro-organisms and reducing the need
for chemicals, whilst the solar cover
captures solar energy to reduce heating
costs. High wind anchor straps are
supplied as standard.
The cover weighs 1.250 kg per sq metre
and can be rolled by just one person using a
geared down manual crank (or two people
using two cranks for pools of at least 50 sq
m). You can purchase a motorised crank with
a 24 volt battery which, with its quick
charger, completely recharges the battery in
less than 20 minutes.
All individual parts on the Walu cover
are replaceable. The cover’s panels and
anodised aluminium tubes are
interchangeable and so can be replaced, if
necessary, and on site so you never have
to be without your pool safety system. All
fabrics are of a reinforced flexible
composite with an anti-abrasion treatment
and all fittings are stainless steel.
