Low-stretch bandage
The bandaging technique illus-
trated here is a modified Pütter
bandage consisting of two low-
stretch bandages applied in the
counter-rotating technique. This
technique ensures high strength
and better durability of the band-

The first turn of bandage begins at the metatarsophalangeal joints, The bandage runs from the hollow of the knee over the fibula head
moving from inside outwards (1). The foot is held at a right angle. and back to the calf and then, following the contour of the leg, is
again taken downwards (7) to close the gaps in the bandage.
