the Spirits” paradigm in the Enneagram.
Often used as a personality inventory, the
Enneagram is a spiritually based “wheel”
to describe the nine basic styles of self
expression. Fascinating, informative, useful
in parish life.
It will include a conversation about
“spiritual types.” November 17, 2008,

Retroalimentación (Refueling): Immigration
Issues 101 and Hispanic Ministries in Iowa

Retroalimentación (Refueling) is a training event offered by the Instituto Latino of
the Conference Standing Committee of Hispanic Ministries. It is offered to those
who are interested in Hispanic Ministries and want to learn of some possibilities
and to those who are currently working in a ministry with Hispanics and need to
recharge their spirits.
At the event, offered twice this fall, there will be an opportunity to: worship bilin-
gually; meet others who are interested in and/or working in Hispanic Ministries;
learn about “Immigration Issues 101”; learn about “ISNET”– a model to help
communities be prepared for an immigration raid; share “una comida tipica” - eat
authentic ethnic food; share ideas about Hispanic Ministries-existing and those to
be launched.

9:30 am-3:00 pm at Wesley United Methodist Church, 430 E 2nd St.; Ottumwa;
