From our Readers
This great idea came from
Kimberly, aka pinkkimmychic.
It’s a great and inexpensive
way to display your creations!
I found a nice way to display
my cards before I give them
away. It's a really quick and
easy project – even if you're
hammer-challenged like I am.
You need to take a trip to your
hardware store and pick up one
length of stationary shutters, a
set of hinges, and paint – if
you'd like to give it a light white-
wash like I did. If you want to
go for a vintage look – pick up a
set of vintage shutters at a tag
sale or antique store. They are
easy to find and usually
affordable.

Determine how tall you'd like
your display to be. For mine, I
cut the shutter in half to get the
length I wanted. Next -- attach
two sets of hinges. That's it!
It's ready to be painted or set
up in your scrapping room. It
also makes a great display for
an arts & crafts show.

The best thing about this
display is that can stand up on
its own--on a table top, dresser,
or even the floor. You can also
hang it on the wall by 2 nails. If
you have any questions -- let
me know!
