The CEC Special Report: Contribution and Benefi ts Proposals was
discussed. The items tabulated included a 10p increase in contribution

Acorns Children’s Hospice was awarded the
Congress Local Gift for its brilliant and heartwarming
work. There was report back on the three Sectional

Conferences. The CEC statement on Remploy
confi rmed the up to date position and
thanked the offi cers, staff, shop stewards and
activists for all of their hard work during what has
been one of the hardest fought disputes in the history
of GMB. The Yorkshire & North Derbyshire Region
take centre stage for a photo.
