Anaconda is basically a water-filled rubber tube, which is
closed at both ends (1). At one end there is a set of turbines
(2)(c) connected to generators. These are activated by the
pressure caused by the bulge wave trapped inside. The
energy generated is transported (3) and adapted (4) to the
national grid via electrical wiring on the seabed (5).

The bUlGe wave moTion
The front end of the tube (a) is squeezed by a wave, which
starts a bulge running along it (b). As it moves, the wave
follows it along, squeezing the tube more and causing the
bulge to get bigger. The bulge surfs ahead of the wave,
where the slope of the water (pressure gradient) is highest.
