constructed within a cave.

offers a choice of quality meat and fish dishes. Popular with locals.
Restaurant Miradouro - This restaurant is located in the suburbs of Funchal looking down over
the city. It is a typical rustic Madeiran restaurant that specialises in serving barbequed Chicken
which is brought to your table on a charcoal burner. Served with Milho Frito a local maize dish and
Bolo do Caco -traditional Madeiran bread served warm with garlic butter. Utterly delicious!! A must
to visit.
Bomfim - A small, cosy, family run restaurant located next to the Sao Pedro church on the fringe of
Funchal centre. Famous for their spicy Piri Piri Prawns.
