Support our Ambulance Appeal
From the floods in Gloucestershire to the London bombings, the Red Cross is always ready to respond to emergencies in the UK. Our trained volunteers provide practical help and emotional support to those in need.
However, in the West Midlands, which has a growing and dense population, busy transport network and thriving business community, the British Red Cross is currently under-equipped in terms of emergency planning and response.
To ensure we can continue to help those in crisis, we have launched our Ambulance Appeal. The Responder ambulance will be highly visible in the community and will increase the capacity of the British Red Cross to react to major incidents in the West Midlands. It will undertake many community services including responding to house fires and road traffic accidents as well as bigger crises and providing first aid at public events. We don’t ever want to be in a position where we cannot answer a call for help.
You can now help us to bring hope and support to those affected by crisis in the UK by donating to our Ambulance Appeal.
