The Angry Penguins Art Poster Pack
12 A3 full colour prints with teacher notes on the
reverse side. Notes include the Work, the Artist and
the Times, as well as activities for the students to try.
Artists include: Sidney Nolan, Albert Tucker, Danila
Vassilieff, John Perceval, Joy Hester, Arthur Boyd, Noel
Counihan & Yosl Bergner. The Angry Penguins took
their name from the Angry Penguins Journal, the most
vibrant contemporary art and literature publication
produced in Australia at the time. The Angry Penguins
hold an important place in Australia’s art history. These
artists changed the way art was made and viewed from
that time on, while many of their works have become
Australian icons eg. Nolan’s Ned Kelly Series and
Tucker’s Antipodean Heads. Suitable for primary and
