when he missed his flight.

6kg device on a flight carrying the Polish
Prime Minister from Warsaw to JFK.

Michael Smegal, 42, who had mailed

several years was finally charged after
allegedly making a bomb threat to Van Nuys
Airport in writing.

A charter flight carrying troops on a
peacekeeping mission to Liberia was the
subject of a bomb threat.
16 MARCH: SHARJAH
Baggage belonging to Sakkaria
Kunjabdullah, 23, was labelled with a bomb
threat that delayed an Air Arabia flight to
Calicut. It is believed that Kunjabdullah
intended to cause a scare in Calicut rather
than Sharjah.
16 MARCH: TORREON, MEXICO
A bomb threat was received at the offices of
ALMA airlines resulting in six flights being
diverted or delayed.
17 MARCH: BEIJING
Tie, following a disagreement with security
regarding new LAGs requirements, claimed
that the tube of Crest toothpaste he wanted
to take onto a Shandong Airlines flight was
actually explosives, prompting his arrest.
23 MARCH: ALMATY, KAZAKHSTAN
The airport received an anonymous call indicating
that an aircraft awaiting departure for Dubai had a
bomb on board.
25 MARCH: BEIRUT
Katia Salha told the crew of her Air
France flight, before departure, that she
had just received a telephone call telling
her that a bomb was placed in her
luggage. It appears that the caller
allegedly wanted to marry Salha, but her
family turned down his proposal.
28 MARCH: MANILA
A bomb threat was targeted at the Ninoy
Aquino International Airport in Parañaque City.
