Thursday 11 October
Tomorrow I am travelling to the London Centre for Aesthetic
Surgery in Harley Street for my Macrolane treatment

looked at the Macrolane web site again (www.macrolaneuk.com)
and feel reasonably confident that Macrolane is the treatment for
me, I hope Dr Viel agrees.
Friday 12 October
My consultation with Maurizio Viel went very well! Maurizio
answered all my questions – mostly related to how soon I could
get back to work and start exercising again. He reassured me
that he would be able to restore the fullness in my breasts and
improve their shape and that the treatment result would look

Thursday 16 October
I am back at LCAS for my Macrolane treatment. My partner has
come with me and I confess to feeling both excited and nervous.
Maurizio Viel talks through the procedure again with me and
makes sure that I am happy to go ahead. I sign the consent forms.
My blood pressure is taken and I am gowned up for the
procedure. Maurizio also marks up my breasts and explains
where he is going to place the gel. The treatment room looks like
a small operating theatre. Maurizio is in his theatre scrubs. I note
the time 0930 I have butterflies in my stomach as I lie down but
Maurizio is so reassuring and his nurses so caring that I relax.
The local anaesthetic stings a bit and then I feel nothing.
I have to say that it is a weird sensation when the Macrolane
gel is injected, but not painful. Amazingly I see my right breast
increase in size before my eyes. Before I know it, I am sitting up
looking into a mirror. I am amazed – I now have round, perfectly
shaped breasts and a cleavage!
