“After 15 years of working for other
builders, I started my own business doing
renovations and this remains a very large
part of my business,” said Alfieri. On aver-
age, Windrush Hill does 12-16 projects an-
nually, depending on size and timing –
projects range from finished basements to
complete custom homes. “We specialize in
giving older homes facelifts – open concept
design, new kitchens and bathrooms, as
well as complete exterior facades to bring
them up to current standards,” explained Al-
fieri. “Renovations give me the challenge
that I like and the opportunity to work
closely with my clients. Together, we come
up with the right design for their home.” Al-
most all design and finishing choices are
done in-house and since Alfieri has excel-
lent design skills, it makes the process eas-
ier in the long run. After all, who could
build it better than the person who designed
it?
Windrush Hill is a fairly new company,
entering its eighth year of full-time opera-
tion. However, Alfieri has 23 years of cus-
tom building and renovating experience.
