Morning
Clyne Ladies section held a9-hole and at Singleton Hospital Swansea) (This is

Nelson was victorious in the final of the Dorothy
Meacock, which is the County Foursomes compe-
tition. Interestingly,these ladies also had an

Cradoc Golf Club's Seniors brought their 2008 pro-
gramme of matches to aclose with their traditional
fixture against Cradoc Ladies on Tuesday 14th October.Southerndown Ladies'

Ladies Vice Captain Jill Evans &Andy Black won theirCaptain's Charity,2007-08.

wise by 3&2.There were halves in the matches
between PamRooza &Gaynor Davies and Phil Smith &
Maurice Church as well as between Hazel Price &
Alison Pinniger and Eric Russell &Norman Skinner.The
Seniors however registered wins by their Captain Colin
Rosser &Dave Pinniger 3&1,Derek Lloyd &Arthur
Hughes 1up, Gerry Morter &Rick Jones 8&7and
Trevor Clarke &Gwyn Davies 3&2.What made this
year special, however,was the inauguration of anew
trophy for this annual match presented by Ceini
Woodland in memory of her late husband Den, akeen
golfer and agreat fan of this particular event.
Unfortunately Ceini was unable to be present this year
but she sent amessage of good wishes which was
read out by Ladies' Captain Sarah Parker.
Cradoc's Men competed in the Hall of Fame compe-
tition on 12th October which saw Rob Hudman win
with 81-15=66, three shots clear of three golfers on
nett 69: Derek Brown off 18, John Drain, who had the
best gross of 76, off 7and KenMatthews off 12.
There were 80 entries.
