Evangelist David Johnson, director of the Arizona regional campus of the Golden
Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, will lead a revival program April 29 to May 2 at
First Baptist Church of Sun Lakes.
“He is an outstanding Bible scholar but his real strength is that he is a gifted
preacher,” says Pastor Bill May.
The church also holds Easter sunrise service at 6 a.m. April 8 with Easter service
at 10 a.m. In addition, the East Valley Chorale Gospel Sing is at 4 p.m. April 15.

Easter at Palms
Pastor Kelley Hand invites all to join the congregation of Desert Palms Church at
their Easter service at 9:30 a.m. Sun., April 8 in their new facility.
For the past 10 years, the Desert Palms congregation rented the cafeteria at Bogle
Junior High for their weekly services. They broke ground for the new building in
October and got their occupancy permit from the city just in time for Christmas.
